Wilkes-Barre General Hospital set for Annual Mammothon

Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital employee volunteers will once again be making calls for the fourth annual Mammothon to be held 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. On that date, employee volunteers will make calls to women who are overdue for their mammongrams and help them schedule an appointment. The committee recently met to finalize plans for the event, which coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a team, Commonwealth Health employee volunteers scheduled 488 mammograms in 2014.
