6/8/2014
Friends, family and colleagues of the late Dr. Danilo deSoto, who died in an automobile accident last year, recently gathered at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, to dedicate a lounge in honor of the late psychiatrist. DeSoto, who died at age 50, was a geriatric psychiatrist, assistant medical director of Moses Taylor and medical director of Traditional Home Health. DeSoto’s longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Matthew Berger, offered remarks, reflecting on the great void deSoto’s death left in the community as well as the late doctor’s commitment to his family, patients, friends and co-workers. Attending the dedication, from left: Joy deSoto, Ana Scudellari, Berger, Josefina Bonanno, and Gene Boylan, director of the senior mental health unit at Moses Taylor.
