Pittston Native Joins Commonwealth Health Physician Network to Expand Urology Services

SCRANTON (January, 2022) – Michael Campenni, D.O., board-certified urologist and Pittston native, has joined Commonwealth Health Physician Network to expand access to urology services in both Pittston and in Scranton. Dr. Campenni is a member of the medical staff at Regional Hospital of Scranton, Moses Taylor Hospital and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Dr. Campenni has over two decades of experience helping patients overcome a wide variety of urological diseases and providing general urological care. He is skilled and knowledgeable about a wide range of urology issues with advanced training from St. Joseph’s University, the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Campenni earned his Medical Degree from Midwestern/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University/Riverside Osteopathic Hospital and completed his Urology Residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he served as Chief Urology Resident and a Junior Faculty member. His independent research earned him several publications and awards and the opportunity to present his work at the American Urology Association national convention.
