Lackawanna Ambulance Appoints Three to Leadership Positions

SCRANTON, PA – Lackawanna Ambulance, a provider of high-quality emergent and non-emergent ambulance services throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, recently appointed three individuals to key leadership positions within the organization.
Gary McIntyre was recently named Director of Operations. In this position, Mr. McIntyre will oversee administrative and operational aspects of the ambulance service, including business office functions, and dispatching. Prior to joining Lackawanna Ambulance, Mr. McIntyre served in leadership positions at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.
Ted Evans was recently appointed Human Resources Manager. With more than 25 years of EMS and human resources experience, Mr. Evans served most recently served as a Lackawanna Ambulance paramedic. As a senior member of the LA leadership team, Mr. Evans will be responsible for payroll, hiring, personnel training and compliance for the organization.
Dr. Kirk Hinkley was recently named Medical Director. A graduate of Penn State University College of Medicine, Dr. Hinkley completed his emergency medicine residency at Wright State School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio. Board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Hinkley is a former Air Force emergency physician and flight surgeon.
