First Hospital Presents Free Talk on Suicide Prevention

EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 19, 2015) - More than 100 people turned out for a suicide prevention lecture presented Oct. 15 by Commonwealth Health First Hospital at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion, Edwardsville. "Suicide Prevention: Tools for the Health Care Professional" was presented by Edward Bachert, Fountain Hill Chief of Police and a professional speaker and researcher for the U.S. Department of Justice.
The next free lecture in the series, "Reflections on Gratitude: Creating Emotional Wellness in a Stressful World," will be presented 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 12 by Mandy Gwiazdowski, and Megan Runco, at the Saxton Pavilion.
