Dr. Mott to Present Health Talk on Thoracic Surgery, Lung Cancer

SCRANTON, Pa. (Jan. 28, 2019) – Brian Mott, M.D., will present “Robotic-Assisted Surgery for Lung Cancer” at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the McGowan Conference Room, Regional Hospital of Scranton General Services Building, First Floor, 743 Jefferson Avenue Scranton. The event is open to the public free of charge.
Dr. Mott will discuss the evolution of thoracic surgery and explain the history of traditional thoracic surgery for lung cancer and how robotic-assisted surgery is being used in the treatment of lung cancer. He also will talk about the potential benefits of robotic-assisted surgery.
Dr. Mott is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery and specializes in minimally invasive, robotic-assisted lung surgery. He trains physicians from throughout the nation on robotics.
