Patient and Family Advisory Council
Patients and their families are often the most knowledgeable members of the care team and can provide valuable feedback about the care they receive. At Commonwealth Health, we are committed to partnering with patients, families and caregivers to improve the healthcare experience. One of the ways we do this is through our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC).
The Patient and Family Advisory Council consists of hospital staff, patients and caregivers.
What Can I Expect?
During a PFAC meeting, a patient and family advisor can do the following:
- Share the healthcare experience with hospital staff and other PFAC participants
- Tell us what it is like to be a patient or guest in our facility
- Identify what we do exceptionally well
- Identify areas of concern or need
Who Can Participate?
If you were a recent patient or family member of someone who received care at a Commonwealth Health hospital, we invite you to attend and participate in a Patient and Family Advisory Council meeting. You can make a difference!
