Commonwealth Health Physician Network Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon

(August, 2022) – Orthopedic Surgeon Dante Palumbo, D.O., recently joined Commonwealth Health Physician Network and is now practicing orthopedic surgery in Kingston, Pittston, Dunmore and Tunkhannock.
Dr. Palumbo is devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of orthopedic diseases and injuries, and is experienced in treating a range of conditions. His services include hand, wrist and elbow surgery, small joint replacement, arthritis care of the hand and wrist, adolescent orthopedics for elbow, hand and wrist, trauma surgery for elbow, wrist and hand, fracture care/ surgery as well as hand and wrist arthroscopy.
Dr. Palumbo earned his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Affiliated Hospitals. He completed his hand surgery fellowship at Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky where he learned the most up-to-date surgical techniques for the treatment of fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, ligament injuries and nerve compression, as well as microsurgery of the nerves and vessels. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
