7/18/2018
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (July 18, 2018) – Gynecologist Lynne Coslett-Charlton, M.D., a member of the Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital medical staff, is one of two physicians in the nation to be named a John McCain Fellow. Each year two members of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists are chosen to represent ACOG with a women’s health care advocacy fellowship in Washington, D.C.
The John McCain Memorial Fellowship Program provides fellows with firsthand exposure to policy development and the legislative process in the federal and state governments. The program was founded in 1981 in memory of Dr. John McCain, a strong advocate for ACOG’s government affairs program.
Dr. Coslett-Charlton chairs the Pennsylvania Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
