Established in 1948, Tyler Memorial Hospital is a 48-bed full-service acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to the Endless Mountain region, including medical and surgical care; inpatient, outpatient and emergency care; and occupational health services, to name a few. Physical and Occupational Therapy
Tyler Memorial Hospital’s physical and occupational therapy department provides quality, caring rehabilitative treatment to individuals recovering from an accident, illness or surgery – as well as patients challenged by chronic disabilities. Treatment techniques include:
- Electrical stimulation
- Guided exercise
- Hot and cold applications
- Massage
- Ultrasound
- Variety of other therapeutic mechanical devices and aids
- Water therapy
30-Minute ED Pledge
When patients enter the Emergency Department at Tyler Memorial Hospital, the time of their arrival will be noted. Our pledge is that a clinical professional (Physician, Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse) will work diligently to have our patients initially seen within 30 minutes of their noted arrival.
