WBGH Inpatient Rehab in Top 10 Percent in U.S.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 5, 2018) -- The Advanced Center for Rehabilitation at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital has been ranked in the top 10 percent of 870 inpatient rehabilitation facilities within the United States.
The center is an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility inside the hospital. It was cited for care that is effective, efficient, timely and patient-centered, according to rankings determined by using the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation program evaluation model. This tool provides facilities with a composite performance score and percentile ranking drawn.
Program director Mary Beth Moss attributes the center’s success to the dedicated team of the facility. In 2017, the center served 483 patients.
